This is a "great" vintage porcelain sign with a "unusual warning" script. It measures 14 inches x 6 1/2 inches and is in great condition with the exception of a couple of chips around two mounting holes & some paint spillage on back side, as seen in photos. It was made by "The Stonehouse Steel Sign Co. of Denver" and appears to be dated 931. Thinking this is Railroad or Industrial and was probably mounted below a wall hung "fire bucket" or "fire axe". So that they would not be utilized for other purposes other than fighting a "Fire". We are open for other thoughts on it's purpose.
